I graduated as a psychologist at University of Debrecen in 2001, then I became a clinical psychologist (Semmelweis University) in 2005. Following that I started the theoretical psychoanalysis doctoral program at University of Pécs, I did my phd in 2011 and my habilitation in 2017. My subject was the psychoanalytic study of artistic creativity with the use of psychobiography. I was a lecturer at Szarvas Pedagogical College between 2000 and 2003, a lecturer then adjunct at Szeged University, Institute of Psychology between 2004 and 2015. Since 2015 I am an associate professor at Eötvös Loránd University, Institute of Psychology, Department of Clinical Psychology and Addictions. As a practicing psychologist between 1997 and 2004 I had been working as an assistant and as a psychologist at a psychiatry department in Gyula (Pándy County Hospital), at a drug ambulance in Budapest (2004-2008, Nyírő Gyula Hospital), and as a clinical psychologist in Szeged at a counselling center for students (2008-2015). I have been working in private practice in Szeged then in Budapest for 10 years. In 2020 I graduated as an existential consultant at an Open College program (SFTR accreditation).

I am working with clients within the framework of dynamic and existential psychologies. Beside these I am a researcher and have several publications (3 monographs and 2 edited books in Hungarian, 1 edited international book, over 60 articles in Hungarian and English) in the fields of creativity, psychobiographical research and existential psychology.
